When all the processes like form filling and release of admit cards etc was completed then the final date for the commencement of the Written exam was released. The Preliminary exam for the 6th CCS was held officially on 18th of December 2016. For the fulfillment of the examination various examination centers were allotted. In all the allotted exam halls numerous candidates appeared to participate in the exam and the preliminary exam was completed successfully in all the respective exam centers. This preliminary examination was held for appointing the candidates for the 326 unoccupied posts.

- On the home page of the site seek under the recruitment section.
- There click on the JPSC 6th CCS Pre Results 2017.
- Under the exam link select out the suitable link for the result.
- Some details will be demanded on the screen, enter them and submit.
- The result will then appear on the screen.
- Download the result file and save it.
- A hard copy of the result will also be beneficial for further use.
The cut off marks lists will also be shown on the site of JPSC ( www.jpsc.gov.in ). The minimum qualify limit is set to be 33% of marks and some relaxation will be given to the candidates of reserved categories. Then the selected candidates in the Preliminary examination will be further called for the mains exam.
