As the scheme was launched by the PM, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has given a step forward to fulfill the needs of houses of every citizen of the country. They say ‘Housing For All’ by 2022. So keeping this Yojana in mind every state of the country is launching up such types of the scheme for their state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Recently the state government of Rajasthan has also started a new scheme known as the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana. The motive of this Yojana is also to give houses to the poor people of the state.

But not many of the people are able to fulfill their dream. As per the recent estimate of Rajasthan state showed that the shortage of houses in urban areas of Rajasthan is 1.05 million. This estimate was taken out by the technical groups of Housing Shortage, constituted by the government. They also showed that in this shortage of houses about 85 % people belongs to the lower income groups or to the economically weaker sections.

The demand of houses is more than the supply. So to build up a bridge between the demand and sully of the houses the Rajasthan Government has launched up this scheme known as the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana. Under this scheme, the state government will make out to fulfill the needs of shelter and have ensured to give houses to every member of the state. Under this scheme, the state government of Rajasthan will build affordable and qualities for all. The prices of these houses will set as per keeping in mind the financially weaker sections of the society. The poor people can also get loans for buying these houses and the banks are also directed to give them a subsidy or the lower interest rates.

Rajasthan state government is now all set to implement this Yojana and has started all the preparation build up these new houses. As it is impossible to give the houses for all at once so the state government has decided to construct these houses in different phases as shown underneath.

  – within 30 months the houses will be given to 200 people lower income groups and economically weaker section.

  – within 36 months 200 to 400 people of the mentioned categories will be provided the homes.

  – in 42 months the houses will be given to the people above 400 and up to 600 people of lower income groups.

  – in 48 months the houses will be provided to people above 600.

In case the developers to failed the houses within the given time period then they will be penalized. This is a very big project and the state government is making their full efforts to vanish the shortage of houses in the state. They want to give the house to every single member of living in Rajasthan state.
