The Professional Examination Board of Madhya Pradesh MP Vyapam is a premier autonomous body that most job seekers keenly refer to for regular updates on job recruitments. The recently announced results for the recruitment of 863 candidates to the posts of Subedar and SI platoon commander were questioned by a number of contestants. These irregularities were reported soon after the merit lists were made public and were of the age counting in Ex-Servicemen quota category. After the registration of the formal complaints, the matter was thoroughly inspected by the MP Vyapam and the board came up with a decision to revise the merit. There were 85 posts for Ex-servicemen part of the population and most irregularities were registered in this category with respect to the eligibility standards prescribed in the prospectus and the eventual irregularity in the results.

The MP PEB Examination for 863 posts under the posts of Subedar, Sub Inspector, and Platoon Commander was held on 4th September 2016 and the results released soon after the examination. About 2 lac candidates had applied to this recruitment notice and most had appeared for the paper held on 4th. The total attendance recorded on the day of examination was found to be 1.68 lakh. Because of inconsistencies in the ex-servicemen category result, the candidates had raised concerns on the reliability of the result.

The MP Vyapam has revised the merit formed initially after the questions that were raised about the credibility with respect to inconsistencies in the Ex-servicemen category. The MP PEB has reformed the results and will be announcing them shortly. The new merit lists will be released for all categories and special attention will be paid to the category of Ex-Servicemen which had 85 posts. The age-limits will be tallied properly and the new lists will be uploaded on the official website and all the leading newspapers of the state. to check these new results candidates will have to stay in touch with the MP PEB website.
