Uttar Pradesh Police Department recently invites applications for the recruitment of Constables in the department. Both male – female candidates can apply for these posts. Total Number of vacancies – 34716 seats.

Process of applying will be started from – 18th January 2016.

Last date to apply – 22nd February 2016.

Exam Organizer – Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).

The written exam for these posts is organized by the UP Police Recruitment Board and Promotion Board. Till now the official date for the written exam is not yet decided but soon it will be announced on the official site. The vacant seats are divided among the male and female candidates in such a way that for males there are 28916 seats available and for female candidates there are 5800 seats available. To get selected for the post, candidates will have to clear all the tests.

 – The written exam will be divided in four different sections.

 – All the 4 sections will be containing questions from four different subjects.

 – The written exam will be of 300 marks in total.

 – 3 hours will be given to the candidates to complete the written exam.

 – Exam is a state level exam and will be fully under the supervision of state government of Uttar Pradesh.

 – Candidates who will qualify the written exam will be called for further selection process.

As the questions paper will be divided in four different sections in which the questions will be asked from the four different subjects. The subjects from which the questions will be asked are as follows…

General Awareness – in this sections questions will be asked related to the current affairs of the state, nation and the world. It will also be considering the latest news, general knowledge, important dates, sports, politics, economics etc.

Mental Ability – in this sections questions will be asked from the 10th standard mathematics such as profit-loss, simple interest, compound interest, average, ratios etc.

Reasoning – this section will include the questions from data interpretation, similarities, dissimilarities, blood relations etc.

Comprehension – in this section questions will be asked mainly from the English subjects such as noun, verbs, sentence formation, passage etc.
