Latest job notification released in Punjab state is to recruit the new candidates for the posts of Constable and SI, in Punjab Police Department. For these posts there are about 6635 seats vacant within the department for both male and female candidates. The selection will be based on various tests such as written test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a medical test. The process to apply for these exams will be started in the month of June 2016 and will also be completed in June 2016 itself.

In PST and PET tests, the required male candidates’ conditions are that he should be of minimum 5 feet 7 inches and the female candidates must be of minimum 5 feet 3 inches. After that the candidates will have to qualify the physical efficiency test in which males will have to run a race of 1600 meters and the female candidates will have to run 800 meters race. Some other physical tests will also be there such as high jump, long jump etc. The medical test and the written test are also of the equivalent importance. And the candidate must ensure to qualify all these tests in order to get selected for the mentioned post.

But to appear in the exam, the participating candidate must have their respective hall ticket/admit cards. After the applying process is over, applicants will get more eager to get the admit cards. Candidates must visit the site and download the respective hall ticket/admit cards, as the applicant who will be without the admit cards will not be given permission to sit in the examination hall.
